PARTS 21-30

21.

(Matthew 8- 22. And straightway he constrained the disciples to enter into the boat, and to go before

him unto the other side, till he should send the multitudes away.

(Matthew 8- 23. And after he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into the mountain apart to pray:

and when even was come, he was there alone.

(Matthew 8- 24. But the boat was now in the midst of the sea, distressed by the waves; for the wind was contrary.

(Matthew 8- 25. And in the fourth watch of the night he came unto them, walking upon the sea.

(Matthew 8- 26. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost; and they cried out for fear.

(Matthew 8- 27. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

(Thomas 13.) Jesus said to His disciples : “Compare Me and tell Me whom I am like.” Simon Peter said to Him : “You are like a righteous angel.”

Matthew said to Him : “You are like a wise philosopher.” Thomas said to Him :

 “Master, my mouth is wholly incapable of saying to who You are like.” Jesus said : “Your Master, because You have drunk, I am not ;

You have become intoxicated from the bubbling spring of living water which I have measured out.”

And He took him aside and spoke three words to him. When Thomas came back to his companions, they asked him :

“What did Jesus say to You ?” Thomas answered them :

“If I tell You one of the words He said to me, You will take up stones and throw them at me and fire will come out of the stones and burn You.”

(Mathew 10-24. A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord.

 22.

(Mathew 19- 27. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee; what then shall we have?

(Mathew 19- 28. And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye who have followed me,

in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

(Mathew 19-29. And every one that hath left houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or lands,

for my name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit eternal life.

(Mathew 19- 30. But many shall be last that are first; and first that are last.

(Thomas 2.) “Let him who seeks not cease to seek until he finds : when he finds,

he will become troubled. When he is troubled, he will wonder, and he will reign over the All.”

(Matthew 10-25. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord.

If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more them are of his household!

23.

(Thomas 1.) Jesus said: He who penetrates these words shall not taste death.

(Mary (4-34.) ‘Beware that no one lead you astray saying Lo here, or Lo

there, for the son of man is in you.’

(Thomas 3.) “If those who lead You say to You : ‘See, the Kingdom is in heaven !’,

then the birds of the sky will be there before You. If they say to You, ‘It is in the sea !’, then the

fish will be there before You. But the Kingdom is inside You and outside You. When You know Yourselves, then You will be known, and You will know that You are the children of the Living Father. But if

You do not know Yourselves, then You dwell in poverty ; then You are that poverty.”

(Mathew 10-26. Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

(Thomas 5.) “Know that what is before Your face, and what is hidden from You will be revealed to You. For nothing hidden will fail to be revealed.”

(Mathew 10:27. What I tell you in the darkness, speak ye in the light; and what ye hear in the ear, proclaim upon the house-tops.

(Thomas 33) “Preach from Your roof-tops that which You will hear in Your ear. For no one lights a lamp and puts it under a bushel, nor does he put it in a hidden place, but rather he sets it on a lamp-stand so that all who come in and go out will see its light.”

24.

(Mary 4-24. He that hath ears, let him hear.

(Mary 4-29. He who has a mind to understand, let him understand.

(Matthew 10-28. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

(John 1-32) And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

(Mary 8-11) The soul answered and said: I saw you ascending. Why do you lie since you belong to me?

(Mary 8-12) When it said this, it (the soul) went away rejoicing greatly.

(Mary 8-13) Again it came to the third power, which is called ignorance.

(Mary 8-14) The power qustioned the soul, saying, where are you going? In whickedness you are bound. But you are bound; do not judge!

(Mary 8-15) And the soul said, why do you judge me, although I have not judged?

(Mary 8-16) I was bound, though I have not bound.

(Mary 8-17) I was not recognized. But I have recognized that the All is being dissoved, both earthly things and heavenly.

(Mary 4-21) ….will matter be destryed or not?

(Mary 4-22) The Savior said, All nature, all formations, all creatures exist in and with one another and they will be resolved again in their own roots.

(Mary 4-23) For the nature of matter is resolved into its own nature alone.

(Mary 4:26. The Savior said there is no sin, but it is you who make sin when you do things like the nature of adultry, which is called sin.

(Phillip )Light and Darkness, life and death, right and left, are brothers of one another. They are inseparable. Because of this neither are the good good, nor evil evil, nor is life life, nor death death. For this reason each one will dissolve into

its original nature. But those who are exalted above the world are indissoluble,

eternal.

25.

(Mary 8-18) When the soul had overcome the third power, it went upwards and saw the fourth power, which took seven forms.

(Mary 8-19) The first form is darkness, the second desire, the third ignorance, the fourth is the excitment of death, the fifth is the kingdom of the flesh, the sixth is the foolish wisdom of the flesh, the seventh is the wrathful wisdom. These are the seven powers of wrath.

(Mary 8-20) They asked the soul, Whence do you come slayer of men, or whence you are going, conqueror of space?

(Mary 8-21) The soul answered and said, What binds me has been slain, and what turns me about has been overcome,

(Mary 8-22) and my desire has been ended, and ignorance has died.

(Mary 8-23) In a aeon I was released from a world, and in a Type from a type, and from a fetter of oblivion which is transient.

(Mary 8-24) From this time on will I attain to the rest of time, of the season, of the aeon, in silence.

26.

(Thomas 28.) Jesus said, “I took My place in the midst of the world, and I appeared to them in flesh. I found them all drunk. I found none of them thirsty. And My soul ached for the sons of men, because they are blind in their heart and do not see that they came empty into the world, and empty they seek to leave it. But for the moment they are drunk. When they have slept off their wine, they will repent.”

(Thomas 92.) “Seek and You will find. Yet, what You asked Me about in former times and which I did not tell to You then, I now desire to tell You, but You do not ask after it.”

(Matthew13-11. And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

(Thomas 17.) “I shall give You what no eye has seen and what no ear has heard and what no hand has touched and what never arose in the heart of man.”

(Matthew13- 12. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath.

27.

(Thomas 41.) “To him who has something will be given. And from him who has nothing will be taken away even the little he has.”

(Thomas 62) Jesus said : “It is to those who are worthy of My mysteries that I tell My mysteries. Do not let Your left hand know what Your right hand is about to do.”

(Matthew13-14. And unto them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:

(Thomas 23.) Jesus said : “I shall choose You, one from a thousand, and two from ten thousand, and they shall be as a single one.”

(Matthew 13-15. For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.

(Matthew13-16. But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

(Thomas 26.) “You see the mote in Your brother’s eye, but You do not see the beam in Your own eye. When You cast out the beam of Your own eye, then You will see clearly enough to cast out the mote from Your brother’s eye.”

(Thomas 25) “Love Your brother like Your own soul, watch over him like the apple of Your eye.”

(Matthew 13- 17. For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.

(Thomas 39) “The Pharisees and the scribes have taken the keys of knowledge and hidden them. They have not entered, nor have they allowed those who wish so to enter. You, however, be as shrewd as serpents and as innocent as doves.”

(Matthew 15-14. Let them alone: they are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both shall fall into a pit.

28.

(Matthew 10- 32. Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven.

(Thomas 114) Simon Peter said to them : “Let Mary leave us, for women are not worthy of life. ” Jesus said : “Look, I will guide her in order to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit like You males. For every female who will make herself male will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.”

(Matthew 10- 33. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.

(Thomas 21.) Mary said to Jesus : “To who are Your disciples like ?” He said :

“They are like children who have settled in a field which is not theirs.

When the owners of the field come, they will say : ‘Let us have our field back.

‘ When they will let them have the field back they will stand naked in their presence. Therefore I say to You, if the owner of a house knows that the thief is coming, he will stay awake till he comes and will not let him break in the house of his domain to carry away his goods. You, then, be on Your guard against the world. Gird Your loins with great strength so that the robbers find no way to come to You, for they will find the advantage which You expect. Let there be among You a smart man. When the fruit is ripe, he quickly came with his sickle in his hand and harvests it. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

29.

(Mary 9-1. When Mary said this, she fell silent, since it was at this point the Savior had spoken with her.

(Mary 9:2. But Andrew answered and said to the brethren, Say what you wish to say about what she has said. I at last do not beleive that the Savior said this. for certainly these teachings are strange ideas.

(Mary 9:3. Peter answerd and spoke concerning these same things.

(Mary 9:4. He questioned them about the Savior: Did he really speak privately with a woman and not openly to us? Are we we to turn about and listen to her?

Did he prefer her to us?

(Mary 9:5. Then Mary wept and said to Peter, My brother Peter, what so you think? Do you think that I have thought this up in my heart, or that I am lying about the Savior?

(Mary 9:6. Levi (Matthew) answered and said to Peter, Peter you have always been hot tempered.

(Mary 9:7. Now I see you contending against the womam like the adversaries.

(Mary 9:8. But if the Savior made her worthy, who are you indeed to reject her? Surly the Savior knows her very well.

(Thomas 43.) His disciples said to Him : “Who are You, that You say these things to us ?” Jesus said to them : “From what I say to You, You do not realize who I am. But You have become like the Jews, for they like the tree and hate its fruit and like the fruit and hate the tree !”

(Mary 9:9. That is why He loved her more than us. Rather let us be ashamed and put on the perfect man, and seperate as He commanded us and preach the gospel, not laying down any other rule or law beyond what the Savior Said.

30.

(Mattew 10- 1. And he called unto him his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of disease and all manner of sickness.

(Mattew 10- 2. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;

(Mattew 10- 3. Phillip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;

(Mattew 10- 4. Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
